19 years ago I wanted to adopt a cat and fell in love with a sweet kitten at the Humane Society that, unknown to me, had been featured on local television that day. It was meant to be as I came back and had to win a lottery to be able to adopt him. What I ended up winning was a sweet, lovable kitten who only wanted to be close to people and cuddle. He used to lay on my arm, cradle his head between mine and my neck, and just happily drool on my shirt while purring. I’ll miss you forever, Murky. My sweet handsome little baby man.
